Here are the locations and dates for our Term 3 Educational Visits. Scroll down to see short video introductions to each location. We hope that you will learn a lot about the history and culture of these locations during the visits. Teachers will use classroom materials to prepare you for the trips beforehand.
Here’s a quick look at the Mount Snowdon Walk…..If the weather is good we will walk to the top- up one side and down the other. It’s a great walk! If you are not feeling so fit, you can walk around the lake in Llanberis, at the foot of the climb.
Conwy Castle is another stop on our Wales Educational Visit. We will stay in a hostel in Conwy town and you can visit the Castle and the harbour of this lovely North Wales town.
This is Whitby- the first trip of the term…It’s a historic seaside town, with a great Abbey, beach and pier.
Have a look at York and its attractions. We will visit the Castle Museum and you will have the chance to visit York Minster ( cost £9) as well- an architectural jewel which is not to be missed.
And finally a quick tour of Chatsworth House which we will visit on the final day of the term- the Gardens are also beautiful..A lovely way to end the term. We will stop for a brief visit to Surprise View in the Peak District on our way. On a sunny day you will have a great view of the Hope Valley.
