When I first came to the ELTC I didn’t care about communicating with students from other nationalities in my class but, in the last weeks of the course, I realised that I was missing the most important part of the course, because I learned things from them no teacher in the world could have taught me. I also broadened my horizons by learning more about other cultures and how the importance of English differs from one country to another. In addtion, I learned a lot of Japanese and Chinese words, which is something really fun to do. Furthermore, studying with students from different nationalities encouraged me to travel to different parts of the world to know more about how people are living there.
